Visited Brewpubs

A highly subjective review of what's what. This is a very partial listing.

Great tiny town with park next door. Always a dozen or so brews on tap, including Turbodog, Purple Haze, and a barleywine. Tasty BBQ crab claws and other vittles.

Super neighborhood pub outside Cherry Creek district of Denver. Carrying an award winning brown, some English and often some Belgian or experimental brews (e.g. Imperial Brown). Great atmosphere and live Dixieland jazz Sunday nights.

In 6-03 they had a nice, though expensive, steam brew. They've been around for years and specialize in German styles with casual N.O. dining.

Was a great place.

Been around for year, always grungy, but generally a great oasis after hearty desert activities. Some unusual brews (e.g. lime, chili).

On my second visit (10-02) they had a wonderful Saison and Dubbel, and an interesting Nightowl Pumpkin Ale.
